Joshua 2:21, “Then she said, “According to your words, so be it.” And she sent them away, and they departed. And she bound the scarlet cord in the window.”

Rahab was living in a sin-stained world. She had made moral fumble after moral fumble. But when the providence of God pursued her and the evidence of God persuaded her, she turned her life over to Him and experienced something that God wants us all to experience – a confidence that can only be fueled by Him. When we allow the providence of God to overwhelm us and the evidence of God to persuade us, we begin to live with confidence like never before.

Have you experienced the providence and evidence of God in your life? If so, you have His power on tap in your life! As you look at your day today, remember that no matter what yesterday held for you, you can turn it all around by giving it all to God. And you can walk boldly through today with a confidence that can only be defined as a God thing.

Whenever you face a moment of fear or doubt or uncertainty today, remember the step of boldness and confidence Rahab took. And look for ways to make that kind of statement in your own life.

Thank God for giving you the power to walk confidently through today. Look for ways that you can share that confidence with others around you.
