Joshua 2:11, “When we heard of it, our hearts melted in fear and everyone’s courage failed because of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below.”

In any court of law, evidence is a crucial aspect of the proceedings. Evidence is defined as "something that makes plain or clear; an indication or sign." In short, evidence is what points to the truth.

We read yesterday about some of the evidence that Rahab had seen in the lives of the Israelites; evidence that caused her to put her faith in God. But take a moment to think about your own story. What evidence have you seen of God's hand around you? Look objectively at the evidence around you, and reflect on the truth - God's truth - that it is pointing you to.

Ask God to reveal His evidence in your life. Ask for eyes to see what He wants you to see so that you, like Rahab, can experience what He wants you to experience.

Yesterday you put a red cord around your wrist. Today, when you see that cord, think of a specific story or situation that God has allowed you to go through. And thank God for the evidence He has placed in your life!
